Sunday Morning Famers Market Stroll

Farmers Markets are great, bustling full of people and local vendors selling their own home-grown delicious produce!
This Sunday I returned to Queens Park Farmers Market with some friends after I first stumbled upon it a few weeks ago with my partner.

Whilst there are so many other farmers markets in the London area, there is something about this one that feels very local, focusing on farmers, fisherman, bakers and butchers.
As some of you may already be aware, I am currently on a restricted diet set by my latest consultant - as much as I am able, I aim to avoid wheat, gluten, dairy, and buy organic food as much as possible. It can make grocery shopping rather difficult, however, at the farmers market I was able to talk to the stall holders, (most of whom create the produce themselves) so are happy to talk you their produce.

The selection of goods was really quite spectacular and has quickly become a firm favourite of mine and my partner's. Here I found fresh fish, greatly fresh baked bread, a wide variety of organic fruit and veg, as well as some excellent gluten free meat!
The market is hosted every Sunday from 10am to 2pm in a primary school playground in Queens Park, North- West London. My advice would be to get there before noon, especially when the weather is nice as some of the stalls can sell out.
